GRAHAM POTTER WANTS £44.6M MIDFIELDER AT CHELSEA AFTER LIVERPOOL OFFER

Chelsea manager Graham Potter wants to sign Liverpool target Ismael Bennacer from AC Milan in the January transfer window, according to CMW. CMW have reported that Chelsea manager Potter has personally targeted Milan defensive midfielder Bennacer. Milan are in talks with the Algeria international defensive midfielder over a new deal and will not sell him for anything less than €40-50 million (£35.69-£44.62 million), according to the report.


Interestingly, Chelsea’s Premier League rivals Liverpool have also been linked with the former Empoli star. MilanNews reported earlier this week that Liverpool have offered Bennacer an annual salary of €4 million (£3.57 million). In our view, AC Milan defensive midfielder Ismael Bennacer would find it hard to make a pick between Liverpool and Chelsea. Both Liverpool and Chelsea are big clubs and global brands who regularly win big trophies and challenge for major honours. Retired French star William Gallas in a shocking turnaround denies ever saying he would score an own goal intentionally. He featured for Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham, playing over 300 games in the Premier League.

The star has been involved in dressing room bust-up, controversies and all but he has won the league and went close to lifting the World Cup. He admits his true nature but denies ever saying he would intentionally cause an own goal.

Gallas enjoyed playing at Chelsea

Former Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspurs defender has revealed that he enjoyed playing the most at Chelsea during this time in England. He said that although he gave his best to the different teams he has played for, it is at Chelsea that he had the best moments of his careers.
